Day 1: Arrival  / Mahale Mountains

Upon arrival at Kigoma Airport, you will be met by an Ubora Adventures guide and transferred to your lodge in Mahale Mountains National Park. The drive will take approximately 3 hours and will take you through beautiful countryside and local villages. According to your liking, we can go on a hike to one of the many waterfalls in the area, visit a local village to learn about the culture and traditions of the people who live there, or simply relax on the beach and soak up the sun and peaceful atmosphere. In the evening, you will have the option to go on a night walk to spot nocturnal animals such as bushbabies and bushbucks.

Day 4: Mahale Mountains

This morning, we will set out on another chimpanzee trek. After returning to the lodge for lunch, you can spend the rest of the day relaxing, either going for a swim in the lake or relaxing in a hammock. In the evening, you will have the opportunity to attend a cultural performance by local Tanzanians or go stargazing.

Day 5: Katavi National Park

After breakfast, we will drive to Katavi National Park, a journey that will take approximately 6 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge and have the rest of the day to relax or go for a game drive.
